ISub (Education)
exhibits at D&T 2008 exhibition at the NEC
ISub (Education) exhibited again at the D&T show
again this year, for the 6th time.
We again took the opportunity to showcase the amazing
range of work submitted by schools using our sublimation
printing systems. We received many remarks from attending
teachers about how "it was useful to see actual
work created by schools".
During the show attendees to the stand had the opportunity
to complete a mini project to print and make a metal
keyring using the dye sublimation printing system.
We ran our annual competition for the most innovative
use of DyeSublimation. The work submitted by schools
was judged by an independant judge. This year the
judge was Jonathon Gershon, currentPresident of the
NAAIDT, seen left with Kerrie Phillips, Director,
ISub(Education).
On the right is an example of one of the winners work,
some cushions with designs inspired by Gustav Climpt
submitted by Connaught School for Girls.
The winning schools received a selection of prizes
that included free ink refills for their printers,
free training session and free dye sublimation pens
& crayons.
We will run the competition again next year and for

ISub (Education) exhibits at D&T
2007 exhibition at the NEC
ISub (Education) exhibited at the D&T show again
this year, for the 5th time, but it was the first
time since the formation of the Education division.
We took the opportunity this year to showcase some
of the fantastic work that students have completed
using our dye sublimation printing systems.
During the show attendees had the opportunity to
try out the new GridMagic Dye Sub software to create
their own designs which were printed onto textile
on the stand to be used in conjunction with a mini
project we were running.
The stand gave inspiration to teachers for the level
and range of work they can achieve with a dye sublimation
printing system. For more information on resources

ISub
(Education) launches Grid Magic Dye Sub Design software
Today, ISub (Education) launched the new GridMagic
Dye Sublimation design software.
Grid Magic Dye-Sub comprises a powerful PC graphics
tool with specialist dye sublimation printing templates.
This innovative software package is easy-to-use and
suitable for students of all ages and abilities, including
those with special educational needs. This new package
combines the expertise of creative educational software
company Q4 Technologies and leading dye sublimation
printing supplier, i-Sub Education.
Light-years ahead of rival art packages, Grid Magic
Dye-Sub is exclusively planned around the needs of
the student and teacher rather than professional graphic
designers. It is easier to learn than other image-processing
software, both for the student and teacher. Highly
creative and engaging children and adults of all ages,
the graphics produced are of a superb quality and
all original. It enables everyone, whatever their
level of artistic ability, to create brilliant computer
art.
Users simply prepare their individual coloured grid
pattern designs, rotate them, repeat the pattern and
import their own images. The design is then transferred
onto the templates and the image printed onto useful
everyday items including mouse mats and coasters.
Grid Magic Dye-Sub gives students something to keep
and, as the results are often outstanding, feel very
motivated by the standard of their work.
To receive a fully working trial disc of the software,
please email us at enquiries@isub-education.co.uk
